In this workshop, you will complete your own leather belt and come away with basic knowledge of the age old craft of leatherwork. You’ll learn how to dye and prepare your leather, measure and cut a strap, stamp a simple design (even personalize it with alphabet stamps), and assemble your own belt! You can even wear it out of class!
PLEASE NOTE: if your waist measures more than 50 inches, PLEASE EMAIL US so that we can make sure to provide the correct sized hide for you.
Supplies Needed: None, but students are encouraged to wear clothes they can get grungy since we’ll be working with dyes.
