In Fire Escape Farming, Naya Peterson, urban farming fanatic and owner of Fire Escape Farms, teaches you the basics of starting an urban edible container garden as well as well as how to have a thriving edible garden year round. You’ll learn how to transplant seedlings as well as plant your own seeds. Best of all, you will go home with one rad wood window box (pre-built at Workshop)! You"ll also get to plant a variety of seeds that will quickly grow into your own urban farm. You’ll learn all the details of how to keep your new edible garden healthy and thriving, and become a the master of your very own mini farm!

Teacher Bio: Naya Peterson is the owner of Fire Escape Farms, a gardening shop that provides supplies, tools and resources for urban, edible gardening. She is an avid gardener and has been known to climb to top of apartment buildings in search of sunshine for her tomatoes.
