Learn the art of leatherwork, just like at camp... or prison! Only it’s better because we can drink beer while doing it. In this workshop you will complete your own leather belt and come away with basic knowledge of the age old craft of leatherwork.
In this class, you’ll how to dye and prepare your leather, measure and cut a strap, stamp a simple design (even personalize it with alphabet stamps!), and assemble your own belt. Stop pulling up those pants (let’s face it; no one wants to see your crack) and be the envy of all your friends!
Supplies needed: none, but students are encouraged to wear clothes they can get grungy since we’ll be working with dyes.
Important Stuff:PLEASE NOTE OUR 48 HOUR CANCELLATION AND REBOOK POLICY. All classes are for adults 18 and over. Though we love kids- we design our space to be for adults only and have a lot of things around Workshop that are inappropropriate for kids/ teens. If youd like to bring your child or teen to class with you we do occasionally make special exceptions but please email us or keep an eye out for our occasional teen/ kids classes we do offer. Please be sure to buy a ticket as classes sell out in advance and waiting list spots are rarely open. Walk ins are not encouraged. Thanks!
