Floral Design: Bouquet And Arrangement Basics - Spring Break Edition $32

Who doesn’t love flowers? They make you feel like a million dollars when a flower delivery person plants a bundle of them in your hands! But have you ever wanted to learn the art of floral design for yourself? In this new class, we show you how to use locally grown flowers and succulents to create a unique and sustainable flower bouquet! You will learn the proper way to cut flowers, tricks of the bouquet-making trade, and floral design tips and techniques. You will also learn how to make a floral arrangement using a recycled vase that you can take home. After this class you’ll be able to take a bundle of flowers and make them into something gorgeous! It’s up to you if you want to share your new skills to help out your Bridezilla friends with their wedding flowers...

Teacher bio: Lorena Cortez grew up in her grandmother’s garden and has had a life long love of flowers that continued until eventually she and her husband opened a local flower delivery service named Home.Sweet.Flowers here in San Francisco using only California grown flowers, recycled supplies, and delivering via bicycle. Maybe you’ll see one of her couriers riding by with flowers in their basket as you wait for the light to turn green.

Supplies needed: Feel free to bring a small jar, vase or mason jar for your arrangement. As well feel free to bring your own gardening shears or scissors, or you can use a set of basic scissors from Workshop.

Important Stuff: PLEASE NOTE OUR 48 HOUR CANCELLATION AND REBOOK POLICY. All classes are for adults 18 and over. Though we love kids- we design our space to be for adults only and have a lot of things around Workshop that are inappropropriate for kids/ teens. If youd like to bring your child or teen to class with you we do occasionally make special exceptions but please email us or keep an eye out for our occasional teen/ kids classes we do offer. Please be sure to buy a ticket as classes sell out in advance and waiting list spots are rarely open. Walk ins are not encouraged. Thanks!""
